The room was phenomenal, clean, and spacious. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. The views of Mt Fuji and lake Kawaguchiko were immaculate. There isn’t too much in the way of food later at night in the area so I’d stock up on some snacks and grab a bite to eat soon after check in time. Otherwise this is an amazing stay in an amazing location!

This hotel was a huge disappointment. While in a great location on the lake and walkable to the station, the property is in very poor condition - musty, rundown. Our room had old furniture and the carpet was stained. We ended up leaving a night early - it was that poor.

Clean and spacious room, great view of the lake in the room and the observation centre on the top level with a clear and great view of Mount Fuji are all marvellous. The hotel’s lobby was well designed as well with nice music and compliments to coffee and tea. Staff were friendly and professional. Great dinner and breakfast. High recommend to anyone wants to stay in Kawaguchicho

The location was amazing. Had a clear view of Mount Fuji and there was a rental bike store near by so you could travel around. The only thing about the hotel, was the bathroom was a bit dated but everything else was honestly amazing

Nice hotel at Kawaguchiko area. The hotel is a little old, but functional. The buffet breakfast and dinner were fine with good variety of food option.

Very basic comfort and service, crowded and noisey. We’ve found bedding quite uncomfortable. In addition, we had to set up futons for our children ourselves every night. There was no choice of water temperature in the bathroom and toilet. No soap to wash hands with in the toilet. No hand towels. Food was average quality and the restaurant was very crowded and noisey. We booked private onsen - it was quite dirty (windows, ceilings) and the setting wasn’t aesthetically pleasing (not one to enjoy and relax in). The best thing was the view from our lake view room overlooking the lake (and Fuji on the other side).
