Prefight overnight in Frankfurt

We lucked out getting the airport shuttle. The schedule should be made easier to find. The front desk staff guy was very quick in getting us checked in with a key. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The shower water pressure was very good too. Breakfast served our needs, automatic coffee selection machine, fresh baked croissants, and the usual suspects of continental breakfast choices. We'd go back for a night by the airport again.

Was fine for an overnight airport hotel. Shuttle is about a 20 minute ride once you board, so it can be a while if you add in waiting time at the terminal. Room was clean and quiet.

Zleep Hotel close to FRA airport

The hotel is only a 10 minutes car drive away from the airport and very reasonably priced. Nice modern rooms and lobby. Breakfast was included and had a nice selection.

Room Smell

The experience at Zleep Hotel was very disappointing. The room had a strong and unpleasant smell, and some parts of the walls were left unpainted, giving the impression of poor maintenance. The room itself was extremely small, making it difficult to move around, and there were no proper charging plug facilities which made the stay even more inconvenient. Due to the strange odor, I had to cancel my reservation for the next day and move to another hotel. Considering these issues, I strongly believe the hotel should refund my charges.

There are SO many other options.... We waited 10 mins past the time the shuttle was to be at the airport...and ended up paying more than 20 euros to get to the hotel. When we arrived we didnt see any staff so we had to check ourselves in at a series of Kiosks. Then to top it off, guests are expected to clear their dishes at meal time.

It looked too far away from the airport, 7.8km, but the shuttle service was excellent, exactly on time, so it was absolutely fine.

Second time here. Try to book early as prices go up massively on the day. Breakfast just average . Juice misters empty . No hot breakfast (like bacon but they do have boiled eggs ) bus service once an hour to and from airport but bear in mind it’s not 24 hours . The morning last airport run is 10.50 am i think so you cant stay longer if flight is later in the afternoon . Overall comfy beds and nice and clean. Also bus from the airport stops about 10.40pm i think

I dropped my Avis rental car at the Airport and was told that the shuttle could bring me back to the hotel at 22.30 I waited in the sweltering heat and waited and waited. Nothing. I called the hotel 2 times and was told that the bus was a bit delayed. When I called the 3rd time at 11.00 the Front Desk person told me that the bus was not back at the hotel which meant the the bus was still in route. I finally took a Taxi for 25.00 Euros which dropped me of at the Platzhirsch. I told the driver that it was the wrong hotel but he insisted that the address was correct and he drove off anyway. The Front Desk was nice enough to call me another cab which dropped me off at the Sleep Hotel after paying him another 8 Euros. He told me that this happens a lot as taxi drivers want to make a quick return to the airport to pick up another ride that pays more by going into Frankfurt downtown. He also told me the after 21.00 Uhr the hotel shuttle never shows and they face similar situations like mine all the time. When I called the Sleep Hotel Desk the third time I was told that he has NO WAY to contact the driver of the shuttle to find out his position or ETA. This is hard to believe in times of cellphones. The Hotel was nice but the shuttle situation ruined our stay completely.
