Hotel was nice and clean. Direct access to beach with beautiful gulf view from the balcony. Room was clean. They have a restaurant in the lobby which was edible but overpriced for what it was. The receptionist Kelly or Shelly was not friendly or helpful at least to me because to the white couple before me she was all smiles and extra friendly. The person who actually checked me in was super kind and helpful.

The room was clean and the beds were comfy, bathroom was spaciousness. Fantastic view of the beach! All the staff were wonderful, very helpful. The only downside is you have to pay to park on site. We enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to our next visit.

I am very disappointed and quite frankly I feel deceived. I have booked on Expedia well in advance a 2 queen size beds oceanfront room - a top choice. At check-in we were assigned a room on the second floor at the end of the hallway right across a very loud hallway AC unit, next to an elevator - not acceptable. I returned to the front desk and asked for an alternate room, and was given the counterpart at the other end of the same hallway, with the exact same problem. I returned to the front desk again to ask for an appropriate room for my reservation and was told in no uncertain terms that because I booked through a third party - Expedia - instead of directly with Hilton this is the room that I can have. I find this completely unacceptable. I do not recall seeing on Expedia's web page that it sells second class accommodations for which the customers will receive second class guest treatment. Further, the balcony door lock in the room we had to stay in was broken and stuck unlocked. It took a call for service, a channel lock and WD 40 to force the knob to start turning to get the lock to where if you turn it very carefully and just right it may not get stuck. Not OK. I have a video taken in the middle of the night from my room's door of the loud AC unit that comes on and off 24/7, loud enough for the noise to penetrate and be heard in the room all night long. Really not OK - not up to what I expect from Expedia, or Hilton for that matter.

The Beal House and excellent getaway

The staff provide the best customer service. We felt right at home. The amenities were very pleasant. Food absolutely awesome. Very hospitable staff. We will be back.

Long weekend celebrating 60th birthday.

Wonderful experience overall! Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Beachfront with fantastic view of ocean. Excellent food in the hotels restaurant “The Remedy” though not an exceptionally large menu. Will be our go to hotel when back in the area.

Biggest complaint was that there was no free parking and the parking was 20$ a day after fees. Room looked new and modern but we had issues with the door deadbolt getting stuck every time we opened the door and had issues with the AC control on the wall. Good location and easy walk to the beach though.

Overall the hotel is nice. I wish I had know that it really is a motel as the doors are open to the outside. Doors are heavy and slam shut making it noisy all hours of the day/night. The 2nd floor is very noise due to a mechanical room located on that floor. It was nice being so close to the beach and the pool toys were a nice touch. I was hoping for a quite, restful vacation and did not find that here but still an overall nice stay.

This place has great views and easy beach access. The Remedy breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and well maintained. The only thing keeping this hotel from getting a full 5 stars is the $15 self parking fee and the air condition never got the room below 75 in room 212
