The stay was ok but we didn’t turn the jets on in the tub because the jets were stained and nasty looking and the pillows are huge and hard to use a variety of pillow thicknesses would be appreciated I went out and bought one for me and my wife so we could sleep in peace

Checked in and room smelt bad, microwave was missing, AC/heat did not work. No maintenance staff even early evening. Had to move to new room, deck chair would not stay up. Sofa was disgusting. Toilet loose. Lobby furniture peeling and even staff office chair all beat up.

Repulsed by finding that the bed sheets had not been changed- bodily fluids evident! Staff was slow to respond to complaint-had to ask twice to have them changed. offered a room change or $25 reduction in rate. We will not stay there again.

I had a nice stay, the staff are friendly and helpful, the room was clean. The place is getting a bit run down, and garbage strewn outside the back door of the property. I would stay there again though.

I was so excited to be visiting Dawson Creek and the hotel I booked seemed to have a good review. Yet the odour in our room was bad, bad: it was most likely the smell of a cleaner. Made me almost sick. There was a big black dead beetle on the black and red floor. The room should have been checked after it was cleaned. The walls should have been wiped down. You could tell that a reddish beverage had splashed on them. The towels were stained: washed but still stained. Same with the sheets. The sofa was filthy: definitely needs a shampoo. The easy chair was torn. The window that opened should have been washed and the lock mechanism repaired. The curtains needed washing. There was an inadequate amount of face cloths and hand towels. When I asked for face cloths the attendant kindly gave me hand towels to use for that purpose. The continental breakfast was not worth eating: by that I mean the eggs and meat were not tasty. I liked the door lock device on the room…it made me feel safe. There weren’t the little things that make you feel that the expense of the room was worth it: such as no complimentary bottle water, no Kleenex. The room had a nice big tv in one room that I was able to make work: I couldn’t figure out how to get the tv in the other room to work. The staff at the desk were friendly.

I had high hopes for this property, but my expectations were too high. I loved having a large ADA room with kitchenette and sofa and fireplace. The walk in shower made things easier and then… the toilet wouldn’t flush. My son called, no Maintenance on duty. The night auditor brought us a new key. It was not fun needing to carry our items down the hall; in several trips. Not set up with electrical plugs for sleeping machines, needed to have cord struggle across room. Hopefully they will double check rooms before guests arrive.
