Good value but not convenient for access to NYC and cannot walk anywhere as it is off a crossroads of highways. Shuttle runs some but then you’re stuck and it takes an hour to commute. Paid for breakfast our three mornings and solid not know/was not offered espresso drinks until I overheard another guest requesting a latte- was I livid!

Stay was ok. Our room was recently remodeled, but a few things hadn’t been completed, but were during our stay. Kind of weird. The gym was a disaster and barely usuable…if you can find it with all the closed off areas….some equipment wasnt working and there was dust and leaves all over. Location is ok if you are driving. But there is no way to walk anywhere so we used Uber a bunch to get to a bus stop or into Ft. Lee. $$$ We didnt use the bar or restaurant.

I would stay here again. It’s very near a range of restaurants. The hotel food is delicious, believe or not. I recommend the mushroom risotto — and I’m not a vegetarian. The fat hamburger I ordered from room service was almost actually medium rare. When finally got the accessible room I requested, it was smooth sailing from then on — except for one glitch: a $300 was temporarily added to my room charge. I used $53 of it for room service. I only got $200 restored. And I had to ask for a receipt, and someone else’s name and address was on it. Beware.

The temperature in the room was 80 degrees. The thermostat was set to 70 when we entered the room. I tried to turn the thermostat down and it would not go any lower. Very uncomfortable in the room when we were sleeping.

had a terrible experience with both the hotel and Expedia. On the day of my scheduled stay, I unfortunately came down with COVID and immediately contacted Expedia to request a courtesy cancellation, given that I’m a loyal customer. Expedia advised me to contact the hotel directly. When I called the hotel, I spoke with the manager on duty. He initially refused to cancel the reservation, stating that because I booked through a third party, there was nothing he could do—and that he would have been willing to help if I had booked directly as a Hilton Honors member. After I informed him that I am in fact an Honors member, he still declined to assist. I then asked whether he would prefer that I come to the hotel and risk exposing other guests to COVID, to which he replied that it was “my prerogative.” I found this response highly inappropriate and irresponsible, as it showed a complete disregard for guest safety and public health. After further discussion, he changed his stance and claimed that Expedia was responsible for issuing a cancellation or refund. However, after multiple follow-ups with Expedia, I was informed that this was not true. Both parties have essentially passed responsibility back and forth, leaving me with no resolution and an extremely frustrating experience. I hope this matter can be reviewed so that other guests are not treated the same way in similar circumstances.
