When we arrived at the facility we were immediately surprised that we had to pay $10.00 per day for parking and the parking was extremely limited, you got a space or you didn't. There was not food available at the hotel, you had to walk a block to find a couple of small coffee shops.
There were no phones in the room, use of your own to call the office was required. The television was ROKU only (no cable) and if you did not have your own account you was again out of luck. No microwave in the room.
The drapes in the room provided no light restriction, we were in the middle of a well lighted city, because there were no blackout curtain to go with them. You could read a book with the curtains closed.
The hotel had an outside bar area at the pool that did not close until 2AM and the noise from it kept us up until they closed. When I complained to the front office, I was told that they could do nothing about it.
The hotel itself was built in the 1950's and has been remodeled, I think better attention should have been paid to paying hotel guests instead of night owls.
The only good thing I will say that was acceptable was the housekeeping staff was good. They fulfilled our requirements.
Overall , I will say DO NOT stay at this Resort and Spa (REALLY !!!!) unless you wish to throw away your money and NOT enjoy your visit to Ft. Lauderdale.
