This is a modest, clean hotel with a friendly staff. Parking is free and there are many spaces available. The bus stop is a short walk away and the TriRail distance is also walkable although a bit more of a challenge. If you’re driving, I-95 is less than 2 minutes away. The view of the lake is beautiful. The only thing I did not like about this hotel is that breakfast choices are quite limited. I plan to stay here again.

We just got off a long 3 hour flight and just needed a room for 1 night so I say why not book with this hotel and get a shuttle to Fort Lauderdale Aiport in the morning. Worst stay. Plenty noise on our floor, the room had a musty smell, the water pressure was very low when we showered and the air conditioning did not work so we slept in a hot room all night. The only reason why we didn’t call front desk is because of how tired we were and we checked in after 11pm that night. Honestly I’ve stayed there before but it is definitely not how I imagined it to be, definitely gotten worst.

Awful Experience – Not Worth the Price I rarely leave reviews, but this stay was so disappointing I felt compelled to share. First, the TV remote wasn’t working, which was a small inconvenience at first, but things quickly got worse. There was no iron in the room, and when I called the front desk, they said an engineer would bring one up. He promised he’d be back shortly—he never returned. To make matters worse, my room key stopped working, and the door itself was also malfunctioning. I had to go back and forth with the staff just to get back into my room. For the price I paid, this level of service and lack of basic amenities is unacceptable. I definitely overpaid for this experience. It was frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. I would not recommend this hotel.

Upon checking in everything seemed fine. Nothing great, nothing terrible. Went to the elevator and that’s when you see the sign the pool is closed. Not when booking, not even at the front desk checking in. After you’ve paid! Fine, we will rearrange our plans and not have a pool day. Get up to our room and the lock bolt kept popping out. So you couldn’t shut the door from the outside. You had to wrap your arm around the door to turn the handle in order for it to go back in. Called maintenance, and he didn’t seem like it was a problem. Was basically told to just deal with it. Again, fine. Not the worst issue to have, just annoying and hope it actually opens when we try to get in. The next morning we go down for breakfast. Very minimal options. I at least got my coffee, we’ll go out for breakfast. The carpet in the room felt gross. Is it wet? Grimy? The last day came, icing on the cake. Bugs in the bathroom. Nope! Not fine. Spoke to the front desk and was told a refund would be given for the inconvenience. I emailed the manager, as I was told to, with picture proof. No response. 10 days later, still no response, no reverse transaction in my account.
