Bad hotel & bad customer service in the check in

The only good thing about my stay in this hotel was the area. Hollywood beach is a great place to walk, enjoy the beach and eat in one of the restaurants along the boardwalk. I did my reservation online and when I got to the check in desk that it wasn't easy to find because is nit inside of the hotel, there were two ladies there that were surprise that I got a room for one night because according to them there were no rooms available. One of them was a young lady that was pregnant and charged me again the fee for one night in my credit card when I paid directly in Hotels.com. So I was charged two times. The other lady there had red hair and keep insisting that it wasn't possible for me to have a reservation because the hotel rooms were sold out for that weekend. They finally gave me the room key and blamed it at someone called Danny who was supposed to notify Hotels.com that there were no rooms available. When we finally got inside the hotel to look for the room, one of the elevators was out of service so we had to wait a long time for the other elevators to come. The carpet in the hallways was dirty and smelled bad. The room was ok, but the bath tub was broken and the water didn't drain properly. I would never stay in this hotel again.
