Stayed for 3 nights at the ocean manor condo. The ocean, bar, beach, and location were by far my favorite aspects. I enjoyed the clean beach, the umbrellas available for rent, and walking to the “Lauderdale by the sea” restaurant and shopping area. The downsides to this condo are the age of the building (built in the 1950s). It is very worn inside and out, high trafficked. The common areas are very dirty, messy patio furniture and garbage. Even saw some barf puddle in the morning near the tiki bar. The tiki bar is open till 2 AM so the noise pollution from music and drinks is very present. We struggle with doors that were difficult to open and shut do to the age of the building, walls that were paper thin making it easy to hear the elevator ding. The bathrooms are located within the bedrooms so if you are planning on sleeping on the Murphy bed in the living room be prepared for that. We also struggled with the tiny size of both bathrooms and lack of vanity space. There was no broom to sweep up the sand on the floor, very few towels, and overall the condo itself is worn and weathered in different areas. I really appreciated the safe and luxurious area it was located in. I enjoyed taking a morning walk to Dunkin for a coffee, picking up seashells on the clean beach, and the overall friendliness of the residents and neighbors.
