"We had a lovely stay at the Decker House B & B. Cynthia prepared a gourmet breakfast in time for us to make our early morning tour of Mason City sites. Perfectly located a block from our starting point at the library, near the Meredith Wilson childhood home and museum and a few blocks from the Frank Lloyd house and museum. Beautiful interior living room and dining areas. We stayed in the master suite Magnolia room on the top floor. Well appointed room with nice jacuzzi tub and sizable private bathroom. Fridge in the room, comfortable King sized bed. Tastefully decorated all throughout the house. We will return when we come back to explore the bike trails and Clear Lake area near by."

"FLW, need you say more. Cool hotel design. Knowledgeable and super friendly hotel staff. Hotel restaurant food was very good. Server was not very experienced. kitchen had closed and we were not asked if we wanted dessert and coffee before it closed. Server was informed that my wife was gluten intolerant, but she failed to tell chef, and the salad came out with croutons and bread. Also, how many people buy the $5 bottled water in the room? Come on, make a profit but don't gouge. "

"It looked as though the hotel was in the process of a remodel. I believe I received a room which was finished. It was quite comfortable and beautiful. I did have a little trouble climbing into the bed. I'm on the short side, and I literally had to pull myself into the bed."
