Large, bright apartment with attic located in the historic center of Florence in a characteristic building of the 1200's five minutes from the Santa Maria Novella railway station a few steps from the Duomo and the characteristic Ponte Vecchio. Silent. Bright apartment on the third floor with parquet floors and exposed beams on the ceiling that give the apartment charm and style. The large fireplace in the room creates atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay at Under the Roof of Sofia. Very convenient to the sites of Florence as well as the train station. The place was very clean and comfortable. Was on the third floor with no elevator, so may be an issue for some. Would stay there again.

Excellent location, plenty of room

This beautiful apartment is a short walk from the train station. We met Sofia very briefly, and then were checked in by Fabrizio who was kind, helpful, and quickly responded to a question we had the next day.My wife and 4 kids all enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend staying here, and if we ever came back with a group/family of 4-6, we would certainly stay here again!
