The hotel is very close to the train station. So if you travel via train with luggages, the location is a plus. The spaces are smaller than other hotels we stayed in the city including room and breakfast area. The room is clean and quiet. Breakfast is good.

It is located 5 minutes away from Firenze Santa Maria Novella station and most attractions and many restaurants were easily walkable. Breakfast buffet was delicious served by exceptionally attentive and friendly staffs, Leian and Mia. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I would stay again.

Great Service and Location

This hotel is perfectly located to all the attractions. However it was surprisingly quiet being in the middle of the business. Rooms are on the small side but extremely nice. Only complaint I have is the pillows. One thin pillow and one thick and not very comfortable. Breakfast was really good overall and quite a selection. Overall though the service was really great. The front desk attendant named John was exceptional in recommending restaurants and making reservations. He was also great in ordering taxis whenever we needed.

I stayed here for 4 nights. Firstly the staff was wonderful. The breakfast was really good. There were hot and cold items available. I found the bathroom to be a little inconvenient in size. The space around the bed was quite tight as well and personally I found the bed to be too firm for my liking. The bedding was of good quality. This is me knitpicking. The only real issue I had was the bathroom lightig and mirror. I found it difficult putting makeup on in the mirror and the lighting was not bright enough in the darkly decorated bathroom. You could put your makeup on in the rooms mirror . It was a good thing I brought a small lighed magnified mirror with me but it was still awkward. If this isnt a concern for you then this might be a great hotel for you . Would I stay here again? Probably not. After Florence I went to Rome and then returned to Florence one night as I was flying out the next day. I couldnt get in to theMarket hotel so I booked with Mercure, which is a few feet away. I much preferred their rooms ( but hated their breakfast) . I would stay at the Mercure over the Market Urban but if you love a good breakfast start to the day this is the hotel lor you .
