Perfectly situated to explore Firenze, just 2 minutes to the Academy, 5 to the cathedral, and less than 10 to the Uffizi. Historic building, lovingly restored. Good size rooms. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast, with a beautiful interior outdoor courtyard to eat on warm days. Highly recommend!

A great location just 2 minutes from the Accademia, plus easy walking to the Duomo and Uffizi. Helpful staff even packed a breakfast for me when I had an early flight to catch! Safe area with several trattorias and cafes nearby. Complimentary afternoon wine in the shared courtyard was a nice touch!

The whole stay was just amazing; the staff was the friendliest and the best trained in customer service; the inside courtyard was a oasis of peace from the busy streets of Florence; the 24hrs coffee or tea was very appreciated as the unlimited refill of prosecco. The location is perfect to walk to all the tourists spots. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you to all the staff

Perfect. Everyone was friendly and eager to help. Check in was a breeze, the room was clean and spacious and beautiful with a muraled ceiling. Everyone spoke English, the breakfast was just right, and they even made us a to go breakfast bag on departure day. We stayed for one week and walked everywhere. The location is within a few minutes of most everything. We would split our day up and always came back to the room for a breather.

The hotel was very close to everything. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel manager Raphael, was attentive to our needs. He was excellent. And so was the front desk. I recommend this hotel if you want convenience!

We loved this charming hotel! Everyone on the staff was friendly, professional, helpful. That they are clearly proud to work there is evident in their enthusiasm for telling us the history of the building and how perfectly located it is for seeing some of Florence's famous sites. They went the "extra mile" and even provided us with a delicious box breakfast since we had to leave very early in the morning. We will definitely recommend Il Guelfo Bianco to anyone looking for a place to stay in Florence!

More than I’d Hoped for!

The entire stay from start to finish was really nice. The front desk helped us get our car parked in a garage and took care of recommendations all the way up to getting our car back at the door of the hotel. I’m so glad we got to stay here.

My daughter and I stayed 8/31/25 - 9/6/25. We had a superior room, and it was just lovely. The hotel is located close to the Duomo, shopping, restaurants, and there is easy access to the Tram for a ride to and from the airport. Also, the breakfast was excellent. If in Florence again, we will definitely stay there again! The only negative this time is that a building nearby was being renovated, and the workers started early in the morning.

Lovely trip to Florence this

Great location! Easy to walk to all the sights of Florence. Lovely clean hotel. We were given a huge room on the street side of the hotel but no noise at day or night. Really comfy bed. Breakfast was super, plentiful and staff are very pleasant. They are always busy making sure everything is replenished quickly. Lovely to sit in courtyard in the morning.
