I enjoyed my stay at Hotel City. It's well located and easily accessible. The reception staff were attentive, polite, and helpful. The room and bathroom were the ideal size and clean. They offer a good breakfast. I recommend staying there. The only downside was the acoustics in the bathrooms; you could hear noises and conversations from other rooms.

This is a great option to stay in the city center. Location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from train station and close to many monuments, including the duomo. This was the friendliest, cleanest hotel I have stayed at in all my trips to Italy. When I come to Florence I will ALWAYS stay here. Loved the location of this little hotel. We were able to easily stop in and rest/freshen up and then be right back out there. The street the hotel is located on had lots of Asian/Chinese restaurants and markets. While we did not eat at any of the restaurants (they seemed quite busy) we did enjoy being able to pop into the Asian markets for some quick drinks and snacks. The staff at this hotel were all so friendly and helpful.
