This is a scam listing in my opinion. The property cannot speak English (although my entire reservation was made in English). The property would not provide directions for checking in after repeated calls to the office. Received a text that they could not speak. The booking agent called repeatedly and could not resolve the issue again, because the property manager could not speak English. Took my money and could not check in because they don't speak English. Not happy with Expedia at this time either, as this property should have never been offered to me.

Stay was ok. B & B was nicely decorated and the room had a lot of space. Breakfast had to many sweet things. Bathroom: Lots of mold in the shower!!! Wi-Fi reception bad to nothing at all. No parking privately available. Spent 1 hour 30 Minutes looking for parking.

Clean, modern room with friendly staff. Delicious simple breakfast with nice cappuccino. Right next to the tram in a quiet pleasant neighbourhood. Only draw backs were a slightly awkward buzzer entry system at check-in, a sign that said no B&B on the elevator, and a cramped shower. Would definitely stay again.

PROS. Great Hotel Close to bus Transport which takes you directly to Santa Maria Novelle Station, Hotel is like a fmaily owned hotel, very clean, great breakfast, extraorindarily helpfull staff. Close TABACCHI and Grocery shop for basic water ticket needs. Quiet Area. CONS. There is no elevator and the rooms are on the second floor, Parking is difficult near the hotel but if you reserve a space in advance from the hotel there should be no problem.

This hotel is very clean and has everything you need in a hotel. Also, there is a real AC which, in and of itself, is so much better than every other place I have been to in Europe so far. The only reason I am giving it a low score is because I booked this hotel because it says that there are laundry facilities, but that is not true. I planned to wash my clothes at this hotel, and after I checked in, I went to the laundry machine that I saw, but the staff told me that I cannot use it. She directed me to a coin laundry room "down the street" (which was close, but hard to find because it was not down the street). So I had to be there for over and hour that 40+ degree super hot laundry room ONLY because of the description. If you don't need to do laundry, this place is fine. The staff are otherwise very nice and the breakfast is fair, but there is no fresh fruit or vegetables of any kind at all.

Big rooms but no elevator

The owners are nice and rooms are big. A little outdated, but the worse thing is a third floor walk up. There is the elevator but guests from the B&B are not allowed to use. Also people that live in the building are not really nice and complain if there is a little noise in the hallway( for example if you are struggling to take your luggage upstairs walking!)

A bright and comfortable B and B. Friendly service

Unfortunately arrived to discover our booking had been lost and our rooms occupied so were taken to an inferior B and B for the first night of our 3 night stay. The Leopoldo was bright, comfortable and hospitable. Shame that we could not stay there for the 3 nights that we had booked.

A really good place to stay. The host was very helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. We would stay there again.

Clean, profesional and good value for money!

Very decent for a B&B. Clean and no fuss, professional service! Not to far from centre by public transport and secure parking available (15 euros extra, but as there is no access to centre with car gives you a peace of mind). Helpful owner / receptionist! Recommended!

A clean Hotel with basic food

Hotel is very clean. Great shower, towels, bed. Breakfast very basic (for a northern European): no decent cereal, bread or coffee.

A little bit further out of the city than we realised but still not too bad if you don't mind a bit of a walk. Staff were helpful and room a decent size and clean. Two floors up and no elevator so be aware. Our family are adults so probably not very good for younger families.

clean and comfortable

Nice and clean hotel, good breakfast. We were a family of four, and had a comfortable stay. The only two cons are : * there is no elevator (none that guests can use) so getting luggage up and down is a bit of a hassle. * it's about half an hour walk to center of the city - we walked back both days of our stays and gets tiresome.
