The Casa dell'Archivòlto is located in the ancient heart of Ferrara, the Castrum.

It is immersed in an oasis of tranquility and silence, which allows those who stay there to fully enjoy the medieval air that reigns in the maze of streets, alleys and courts of the Castrum.

A 5-minute walk from the oldest part of the Walls (Via del Baluardi) and 10 minutes from the Castello Estense (the Castle), the Casa dell'Archivòlto is the ideal base for experiencing the city in the most authentic way.

The Casa dell'Archivòlto dates back to the early 1900s and has been renovated several times (1985-1998-2005, and then by the current owner in 2007-2008 and in 2017).

Furnished with simplicity and elegance, combining family pieces and Italian design furniture, it offers two bedrooms (one with a large double bed and a second with two single beds), a large bathroom with double shower and upstairs a large kitchen; equipped with all the facilities such as coffee machine, dishwasher, electric kettle, traditional oven and microwave, toaster, various utensils and a cozy living room with access to the exclusive 20sqm terrace.

Services available to guests: free wifi, split air conditioning in the living room, free wifi,

television, iron, drying rack, washing machine and clothes hanger.

A folding bed is available for the fifth guest.

We are pet friendly! We gladly accept your four-legged friends, with an extra cleaning fee of 30 euros per stay.

The garage and a garden in the small backyard complete the house.

The location of the house is within the limited traffic zone (ztl).

To get from the Bologna Marconi airport, it takes 15 minutes by car.

By public transport you need to take the train n. 11 to the Kennedy stop; journey time 40 minutes.

From the Ferrara central station, instead, take bus n.6 to the Alfonso d'Este Museo Di Spina stop, a 20-minute journey.

According to Italian Law, all identity documents of the guests must be exhibited on arrival.

The apartment is classified according to the municipality of Ferrara as 4-sun self-catering house/flat so the city tax is 2.00 euros per night, per person.
