King Bed Retreat / Pool, Hot Tub & Steam Room

Trade the mountain for the fireplace. Inside: a king bed. Outside: a quiet-side balcony with its own natural gas barbecue. Downstairs, swim in the indoor pool, sweat it out in the steam room, or soak in the outdoor hot tub. Back up top, in-unit laundry means you can pack light, and air conditioning keeps summer nights cool. Skis and bikes stay in the underground parkade, and historic downtown Fernie, with its shops and restaurants, is minutes away.

Step through the door and the kitchen is right there on your left, its bar seating making it the natural spot to drop the groceries and start the first coffee. It's a full kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher, plus a coffee maker and kettle. Oil, salt and pepper are stocked, along with locally roasted coffee beans, and you'll find dishes, cutlery and glassware for two.

Across from the counter, the dining table seats four, with room to linger over a long breakfast or set up a laptop for a few hours of work.

Past the dining area, the living room settles in around a gas fireplace beside the TV. A glass door framed by two windows brings in the daylight and opens onto the balcony. It faces the quiet side of the building, and with a natural gas barbecue out there, dinner can happen in the fresh air. There's seating for an early coffee or a drink as the light fades.

The bedroom is tucked away from the living space, and its king bed makes it an easy place to sleep in after a big day out.

The full bathroom is just off the hallway, with a tub for a long soak, and 2-in-1 shampoo and body wash and a hair dryer are provided, so there's less to bring. An in-unit washer and dryer makes longer stays simple, too.

Air conditioning keeps summer nights cool, heating takes care of the colder months, and wifi keeps you connected.

The condo will be entirely yours during your stay. As a Silver Rock guest, you'll also have access to the building's pool (open as early as 6am), hot tub, steam room, and small gym, plus underground parking and a ski locker (bring your own lock - or reach out and rent one from us). Please note, the communal areas at Silver Rock are all subject to closures at any time, sometimes without notice, due to various circumstances.

Once your stay is confirmed, we'll email you a secure link to your personalised StayIn guest guide, which sits outside of Vrbo. It has your check-in and check-out details, reservation, parking and property info, plus the option to accept or decline our damage waiver (see below). The code will be visible five minutes before your scheduled check-in time. If you won’t have internet access at check-in, please message us in advance so we can make other arrangements.

Accidents happen, right? Upgrade your Vrbo coverage with our optional damage waiver. For a small fee, you're covered for up to CA$1,000 in accidental damage, like lost keys, broken dishes, stains and scuffs. Opt in or out via your StayIn guest guide. If you skip it, you're responsible for any damage. It doesn't cover damage caused by any animal, intentional damage, negligence or extra cleaning.
