We love La Quinta hotels but this one needs help. Positives were staff was very friendly, they were keeping it clean even with construction going on, the location is very convenient to everything. Breakfast had lots to choose from, beds were comfy. Now for the cons, pool area was down, elevator in main building was down, toilets either ran all night or you had to flush 3 times. water temp would start cold til about 3 minutes in then would get hot. Some kids were screwing around in parking lot and someone was doing circles. we called 3 times to front desk to ask if they could take care of it or call police. It was almost midnight. Lots of construction going on so hallways were blocked off.

The hotel is very well used. Needs some cleaning up and new almost everything. Pool was shut down for Friday and Saturday. Smell of the hotel was unappealing. Only good thing was the breakfast. Pretty disappointed stay.

As of 10/18/2025 Hot tub: Out of order Pool Slide: Out of order Elevator: Out of order We were able to use the pool once during our 2 night stay before that was also Out of order. This is the hotel for you if you're only interested in a bed and breakfast and don't mind using the stairs.

We got there, the desk staff was rude to customer on the phone and looked like he just rolled out of bed and put on whatever clothes he could find(tan sweat pants with holes and no name tag) 1) 1st room wasn’t cleaned yet( we checked in after 3:00 pm 2) went back to desk, desk staff was annoyed we were back, and talked poorly of the cleaning staff in front of us. 3) new room was smelled like mildew, had no extra bedding for pull out, on way to new room, lots of tape and plastic around ice machine and lots of fans. Smelled like mildew. 4) rude staff at desk when asking for extra bedding and paper plates. Was told they were out of pillows, and told to go to Casey’s gas station for paper plates since they were out. 5) toilet float worked intermittently( just delt with it and made it work so I didnt Have to deal with desk staff. 6) shower curtain had mold along the bottom 7) the power button was the only button that worked on the remote. I will not be staying there again.

We had booked a room at the Laquita hotel in Fargo so the kids could swim. When we arrived the informed us that the pool was broken and out of service. There was no indication of this on the hotels.com site when we booked the hotel. We cancelled the booking at the hotel and booked a different hotel with a working pool. We are looking for a refund on that booking and it would not let us do it through the website.

I liked that they offered a free airport shuttle and that was my MAIN deciding factor. So, I was disappointed and mad when I called the day before my arrival to schedule it and was told they no longer offer that service. Don't put it on your website then! I liked that the room with Queen beds had beds that were actually that size (and not doubles advertised as queen size). The layout of the hotel was a little confusing. I would've liked a continual water dispenser for drinking water. There was a refillable dispenser in the lobby, but it was often empty.

I cannot rate this hotel. We went to check in and found out the pool was closed. We had 3 children with us so the whole reason for staying was a pool. We cancelled right there and moved to a different hotel. The pool closed from an incident on the weekend. I would have appreciated an email letting me know this before we got there.

The front desk staff was very disengaged to the pount of rude. Check on and check out different people were to busy chatting to friends on their cell phones thru their ear pieces and head phones. They made it seem as if my presence was inconvenient to their day. I had asked a question and all the lady did was point to a sign. It was that kind of behavior. The room was clean but the amenities were closed. The breakfast was less than satisfying. The location was convenient. Plenty of parking available.

Customer service was poor. Little communication about no elevator to our floor. Building is in disrepair in many areas and high touch surfaces were filthy throughout the hotel. The only decent feature of the stay was the breakfast. Needed towels for showering but was told they didn’t have any and gave us hand towels instead. Would not choose to stay at this hotel again.
