We were traveling with a 100lb Swissy dog and stayed in a dog friendly room. It had great space: a couch for the human/dog, a dog bed that is good size for a medium size dog, and wood laminate floor made easy cleanup for my messy eater of a dog. We used the road that the hotel was on for a 1.5 mile dog walk; it had low traffic and converts into a gravel road. The hotel does have a small dog area for potty breaks. The bed was spacious and comfortable. The mini fridge did not have a freezer section for ice packs. The bathroom also had plenty of room and counter space. We enjoyed our overnight stay and will return when we make this roadtrip again. It was much easier than staying in Reno. Only drawback, most of the restaurants close by are fast food. However they provide a breakfast with a decent selection of healthy or not so healthy food (better than most complimentary continental breakfasts at non-destination hotels). The fresh waffle choices were fun. Thank you Comfort Suites Fernley team for creating a good relaxing, clean, and spacious experience.

Breakfast was great. Fresh food and variety of options available with fresh eggs, bacon or sausage (changes daily). There is a waffle maker if you prefer waffles along with fresh pastries, yogurt, cereal, etc. Convenient parking. Rooms are clean and roomy. Staff is friendly

The hotel was typical of a roadside motel in the middle of nowhere, like an aged Motel 6. The furnishings need an update and the bare flooring made running to the bathroom in the middle of the night an adventure. The lighting switches were hard to figure out what turns what off and on, so one needed to find the way to one's bed in the dark. It's certainly wasn't worth the $160 per night. I've stayed in $40 per night hotels that were more appealing. And it certainly couldn't have been the location they charged for.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean when we arrived. They were just low on everything, (towels and blankets). We requested maid service after the second night and never received it. Overall the stay was alright.
