My experience was ok until I saw I had been charged twice and two different rates.The reservation that I made through hotels.com, that was discounted, was not honored. When I checked into the hotel on Sunday evening January 25, 2026, the associate that worked at the counter pulled my reservation up but I was charged a higher different amount that was quoted from hotels.com. Also the next morning I had two different charges in my bank account from Extended Stay Hotel. I went to the front desk on Monday January 26, 2026 and spoke with the male associate and he claimed that I was charged twice because I had mad two reservations, I kindly let him know that I didn’t and that I only made one reservation and then he said yeah it’s one here from hotels.com and continued to say oh but I can refund you a payment back. The associate charged me the higher amount not the amount quoted to me from hotels.com.

I only interacted with the front desk staff, and they were very professional and courteous. Check in and check out was a breeze. The room was very clean, and despite it being bitter cold outside, the HVAC worked like a champ and kept me toasty all evening. It is an older Hotel, so there may be very minor inconveniences like my bathroom door scrapes against the floor and makes a noise. Didn't really bother me. The mattress was very firm, like I prefer and I slept like a baby. The best sleep ever!

The only good thing was how close to the hospital it was. I was there to see my sister who has been in the ICU since November 15. Worse part, were the roaches. At first there was one and I figured I’m only here to sleep. But every night was worse. No garbage cans, no closet doors, no spoons, cups I mean nothing. The room did not look like advertised on line. So dissatisfied and disappointed.

Not sure why I expected any different from an ESA--but there were clothes drying on bushes and all manner of people standing around the parking lot smoking, etc. The breakfast area is coffee and hidden muffins below the coffee (would not have known they existed but the very nice front desk staff told me). The room was great. Clean. Bed very comfy.

The location was great. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff respinded quickly to a few problems, i.e. TV signal, difficulty opening the door and the room number sequence. No signs directing you to the rooms, so a bit difficult.
