I like this lodge very much! Just 10-15 minutes drive from the hotel and 20-30 minutes drive to the murphy dome where I saw the perfect aurora. The lodge is like a refuge from the outside world, queit and cozy, everything inside is clean and easy to use. If I want to visit Alaska again, this lodge would be one of the most important reason.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the quiet, beautiful surroundings and the stunning Alaskan scenery. The property truly lives up to its name—it’s peaceful, private, and the perfect place to relax and unwind.The cabin was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views from the hillside were amazing, especially in the early morning and evening when the landscape lights up with that classic Alaskan beauty. It felt like the perfect mix of being close to nature while still having all the comforts of home.The hosts clearly care about their guests and the property. Everything was well organized, instructions were clear, and the whole experience was smooth and welcoming from start to finish.If you’re visiting Fairbanks and looking for a quiet, scenic place to stay, I highly recommend Peaceful Hillside Refuge. Dan and Clarity were amazing hosts and easy to communicate with! The cabin was perfect us as it was far enough outside of town to be nice and peaceful, but close enough for all of our outings, and it was also close to Murphy Dome which was an amazing spot for viewing the aurora on cloudless nights!
