Older facility updated but not recently. Thin walls made it somewhat noisy. Clean and the beds were comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast was pretty good, though limited. All in all good value.

Dooron roo. 119 needs replaced , safety catch hard to secure cause the door is warped or something looks someone tried to force it open. Also the quality of the bath cloths and towels were bad , not sure if i would dry my car with them. Not sorf ir very absorbent.

This is a great property if you want a reasonably priced room close to downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Property could definitely use a face lift. Excellent water pressure in the showers!

We liked the breakfast as they offer biscuits and gravy, which is perfect for my son. The staff made our beds without us asking, which was really nice. The place is quiet. The only thing I feel they could improve on is having a vanity in the room where one could sit and curl hair/put on make-up. The sink is in the bathroom and had no countertop to place items on. Other than that, it was great. I'd stay there again.

The Blue Door Inn served its purpose in Estes Park. It sounds like half the rooms are renovated, but our room with balcony was not. It was old, worn and outdated. Our refrigerator broke while we stayed there, and eventually it was replaced. The two front desk staff members were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. There is also a pool, a hot tub (not working when we were there), basketball hoops, shuffle board, firepit, movies for your room and more. Would we stay there again - possibly. Definitely if the room was renovated.

I cannot believe the reviews on this property. On the positive side, the sheets were clean and in good condition. The water pressure was good. The staff was friendly. On the not so good side.. This is an extremely dated property. The a/c was an extremely noisy window unit. The outdoor carpet on the walks outside the room is torn and dirty.
