Coach House on Historical Crocker Ranch Pet Friendly - #22-ZONE3270

Welcome to The Coach House at Crocker Ranch, a peaceful 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom retreat on a private, working ranch just minutes from downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Surrounded by nature, this pet-friendly home offers rustic charm, modern comfort, and unforgettable Colorado skies.

Half a mile across the meadow is Rowe House, a 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom cabin, also part of Crocker Ranch. These two cabins together is a great place for a small family reunion.

Enter through the Crocker Ranch gate and leave your cares behind. Drive through the trees and across the pasture, park at The Coach House and let the adventure begin.

The front door brings you into the kitchen and dining area. Wrap around windows make this room feel open, sunny and inviting. This large kitchen, with lots of counter space, has everything you need to make great meals for the whole family. The grill master can show off his skills to add to the culinary delights. Gather around the dining table or the picnic table on the deck and reconnect over dinner.

Walk through to the living area with comfy seating for everyone in front of a wood burning fireplace. The TV on the mantle, makes this a great place to gather for family movie night. If you like a little family competition, try out the pool table.

The sun room next to the living area gives you a place to relax and read a book, have cozy conversation or disconnect from technology and spend the evening playing games.

Two bedrooms on the main level are great for mom, dad and a couple of kids. The queen bedroom is connected to the two twins bedroom via a sliding glass door with a curtain for privacy. The bathroom for the main level has a shower tub combo and is accessed through the queen bedroom.

Upstairs are the third and fourth bedrooms each with a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with shower tub combo. Plenty of privacy and plenty of room for everyone to get a good night’s sleep for tomorrow’s fun.

The large deck will be a family favorite. Wake up in the morning with a cup of coffee and listen to the birds, look for deer wandering through the trees, breathe in the smell of the pine trees. Enjoy a picnic. Gaze at the stars at night with no streetlights to wash out their beauty. The best memories are made outside!

Whether you’re here for adventure or rest, The Coach House offers space to gather and reconnect. Book your stay at The Coach House today!

The Ranch

Nestled below Mount Olympus and Park Hill, this land was first settled in 1872 with The Coach House serving as the last stagecoach stop into the Estes Valley for Alexander MacGregor's toll road. Traces of the road are still visible today.

The ranch later became the summer retreat of Frank Crocker, from whom the ranch got its name. The Crocker Ranch has a number of historical associations and now invites guests to enjoy the same quiet mountain beauty, updated with thoughtful modern touches.

We enjoyed getting away for a few days and Coach House was a perfect for our family. We appreciated the large family room with fireplace where we gathered to talk, play games, and watch movies.

Property was exactly as advertised. Property management was very helpful. Property was in an excellent location. Most of us were seniors, grab bars and nonskid in the tub showers would have been good

Estes Park Perfection

We loved our stay at Crocker Ranch. The house was spacious with plenty of room to spread out and relax. Only complaint was that it got very hot, and we would’ve loved More fans to help us cool down. overall, the house was in a great location, and we were pleased.

Incredible location

If you want privacy, lots of room, a historic location, and easy access to town and outdoor activities, this is the rental for you! Beautiful 4 BR, 3 full baths, large kitchen and dining area, large LR with fire place, sunroom, and all the outside space you can imagine on a working ranch. We saw elk, moose, turkeys, and chipmunks all right outside our property. The resident 4 horses were all very friendly and greeted us daily on our walks. Other than our family, no one else was ever seen on the property. Estes Park is only a mile away, but you feel completely isolated in the wilderness. The property does allow pets, even though some of the rental language suggests otherwise. The only suggestions for improvements would be some upgrades to kitchen appliances/utensils (need a Keurig, steak knives, and more bowls). The smaller refrigeration unit in the kitchen is actually a freezer, not a combination unit. We found out the hard way when some drinks froze inside the unit. Please clearly label this as a freezer only. We loved our stay and look forward to returning again soon!
