Local restaurants and taco stands offer plenty of ways to refuel between adventures, while the laid-back atmosphere makes it easy to slow down. Whether you’re planning an active getaway or a quiet desert escape, 20–30 Knots is a comfortable base for exploring El Sargento and neighboring La Ventana.
Guests have full, private access to both adjoining homes—20 Knots and 30 Knots—including all 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas. The entire property is yours during your stay, with no shared spaces and no hosts on-site. The game room is included with your rental: enjoy shuffleboard, Golden Tee, foosball, darts, mini basketball, and pinball. Outside, make yourself at home on the decks, in the 30 Knots hot tub, and throughout the outdoor living spaces overlooking the bay. Guest storage includes SUP boards, beach chairs, sun shades, snorkel gear, a rolling cooler, and beach games—all available for your use. The property is fenced and gated. Parking is available inside the gate on the north side or along the main road directly in front of the property.

Outdoor living is a highlight. Three elevated decks offer sweeping bay views, while two main-level decks feature firepits and teak furniture. Enjoy the Bullfrog X8 hot tub at 30 Knots, stretch out in a hammock, or settle into a day lounger or daybed. Each home has its own gas barbecue for relaxed meals together.
Game nights can stretch across both homes, each with an Infinity game table. At 30 Knots, challenge your group to smart darts, pub shuffleboard, retro Golden Tee golf, four-person Pong, and virtual pinball. Each home has its own 250+ Mbps internet connection and Starlink backup to help you stay connected if the primary service experiences an outage. Whether your group wants a lively game night, an afternoon outdoors, or a quiet spot overlooking the Sea of Cortez, you’ll have access to both sides of the property throughout your stay. The 30 Knots game room also includes the Creative Arcades Sniper cabinet and a huupe mini basketball hoop.
For international and domestic arrivals, San Jose Del Cabo (SJD) International Airport serves as the primary gateway, with a drive of approximately 2 hours via shuttle or rental car under typical traffic conditions. For domestic flights within Mexico and seasonal flights from LAX, La Paz International Airport to El Sargento is a 40 minute car ride.
The homes were designed with sustainability in mind and built from single-trip shipping containers. Across the property, 20 kWp of solar panels typically generate 75–100+ kWh per day, depending on conditions. A 35 kWh battery system stores energy for overnight use and provides backup during local power outages. Our Bio-Aqua biodigester treats wastewater for reuse through deep-drip landscape irrigation, reducing demand for fresh water in our desert environment. We continue to look for ways to reduce our environmental footprint and preserve the beauty of El Sargento and the surrounding area.
