Welcome to 20-30 Knots, a sophisticated 5br/4bath repurposed shipping container eco-property (two adjoining homes) designed for game nights, adventure and relaxation. 20 Knots: 2 bedrooms with king-sized beds, 1 bath, large decks with a firepit hammock and daybed all overlooking breathtaking views. 30 Knots: 3 bedrooms, king-sized beds, 3 baths, 8 person hot tub, retro video games, shuffleboard, spacious decks with firepits, outdoor seating areas, hammocks & complimentary guest storage locker.

Guests have full, private access to the entire property for the duration of their stay — all 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas. No shared spaces and no hosts on-site. The game room is a highlight and is included with the rental: shuffleboard, Golden Tee, foosball, darts, mini basketball and a pinball machine. Outside, you'll have full use of the decks, the hot tub, and the outdoor living spaces overlooking the bay. In the guest storage you will find SUP boards, beach chairs, sun shades, snorkel gear, a rolling cooler and beach games for guest use. Parking is on-site and is either on the road in front of the house or inside the gate on the north side of the property. The property is fenced and gated.

When booking 20-30 Knots, guests have access to all guests areas. This includes no less than 3 elevated decks with amazing views, two main level decks with fire pits and teak furniture, a large 8 person hot tub, hammocks, day loungers and daybeds. Each home has a gas BBQ. Inside, there is a high speed internet connection for each home and a Starlink internet backup for each home in the event that the main internet experiences an outage. The homes each have an Infinity gaming table, and 30 knots has smart darts, a pub shuffleboard table, retro Golden Tee golf, 4 person Pong and a virtual pinball machine.

For international and domestic arrivals, San Jose Del Cabo (SJD) International Airport serves as the primary gateway, with a drive of approximately 2 hours via shuttle or rental car under typical traffic conditions. For domestic flights within Mexico and seasonal flights from LAX, La Paz International Airport to El Sargento is a 40 minute car ride.

20-30 Knots was designed with sustainability and environmental responsibility in mind without sacrificing upscale comfort and fun! The property consists of two adjoining homes built from single trip shipping containers. 14 kw of solar panels sit on the roof on the property, providing 80-100% of our power. 35 kw batteries ensure you will never be left in a black/brown out (frequent in La Ventana due to the unstable power grid). We recently installed two Rainstick showers (a Time magazine invention of the year for 2024) providing twice the flow while using 80% less water. A Hydraloop 300 recycles our shower, laundry and bathroom sink water for non potable use as flushing water in toilets and irrigation. We are committed to pursuing a zero/near zero carbon footprint to do our part in preserving the natural beauty of La Ventana, a truly special place.
