Very Good

Room was clean, but it was a lot more rustic than we expected. Basic dish cleaning and scrubbing supplies were not present, and there is no drying rack for dishes.
The hosts/owners are very helpful and friendly. We arrived late, but they contacted us to let us know self-check in procedures and they left the cabin with heat and light on for us. Firewood for the wood-burning stove was delivered daily. Our dogs really enjoyed the dog-friendly atmosphere.

Glamping domes clean and nice, but outdoor washrooms not super clean. Women’s shower was ice cold so useless. Otherwise had a great stay. Beautiful spot. Food at the pub was great.
Accommodating staff. Great pub. Good food. Close to the rapids. Good marina. Nothing to complain about. Free wood/kindling and paper delivered to the cabin was a nice bonus!
We loved our stay at Backeddy! We unplugged and relaxed and enjoyed the quiet. We explored the beach when the tide was out, so many staffing! We did the skookumchuck hike it was about an hour each way from the parking lot, there is an awesome cafe at the beginning. We also did the night kayak tour to see the bioluminescent which was amazing!
I used to tent in this exact same spot. It was so nice to have the view, room to move, a big comfy bed, chairs and a dry tent. The shower facility is a marina facility. Simple, but it gets the job done. The resort staff are helpful and friendly. I'm looking forward to coming back next year!

The surroundings are stunningly - the nature is just incredible. The resort itself I will say is “rustic” and OK. Unfortunately on our second night the people downstairs (may have been staff) were so noisy and smoking so we ended up having to close all windows despite the heat to try to escape the noise and stinky smoke. The girl in reception was very nice and professional.

Domes were fine however, ventilation was not great, very hot in domes even with fan provided. Better attention can be paid to small things like providing cold water on arrival, additional table/coat hooks to provide better storage, kettle for coffee/tea, mini fridge to make space better equipped for a longer stay. I only saw the washrooms being cleaned once during my stay which was unpleasant. Staff were friendly and helpful. The views are exceptional and make up for some of the shortcomings.
I wouldn’t stay in the vintage small cabins again. Small and uncomfortable with a tiny bathroom. Definitely not worth $259 per night two night minimum.
Wonderful location right on the water and just steps from the Skookumchuck Narrows trail head. The pub on site had some of the best fish and chips we've ever had, and the live music added to the rustic atmosphere. Our cabin was very cozy, we loved the cedar interior and the wood-burning stove kept us warm during the cool nights. The only downside was the wifi signal didn't quite reach our cabin at the very end of the row, and we only had an intermittent signal. A wifi extender in the cabin would have been a big help (maybe not an issue if you are coming here to disconnect).
