Great location for downtown events however, at $600 a night you expect more. The rooms are only average and in our room the bed skirt was very dirty. There was only one uncomfortable little chair beside a small table. If we had wanted room service and or to dine in the room it would have been very difficult. If the room rates are more than double standard hotel rates I expect to be impressed not disappointed.

Most helpful check in I may have ever experienced. Set me up with my pet, a late check out, got my Bonvoy account linked. And just generally pleasant and helpful. Property is clean and comfortable but starting to feel dated. Just a little old in style and a few things starting to breakdown. The door locking mechanism in our room was sticky. Lastly, the surrounding area has restaurants and bars, but lots of construction and I felt uneasy walking around. Not heavily populated, and a number of homeless or drugged up people around.

We checked it family of 4 plus 2 small dog lobby is nice get to the room its very dated kinda like a best western or travel lodge, carpets were kinda dirty but we only were staying the one night and there was a show in the park pretty much across the road so was perfect. checked in late like 8pm left few hours before checkout. We were pleases with the dog beds because there "pet friendly". We stayed friday night and were out of there saturday morning just slept didnt spend much time in the room. Well sunday night just before midnight we get a credit card charge from westin for 265 dollar which we thought was wierd because we checked out saturday and its pretty much monday, so i check my emails and the cleaning staff is claiming the carpets were all stained and the dog beds were ruined and need replacing, so we called the hotel to ask about these charges cuz the room was the exact same condition on check out as it was during check in, the lady was kinda hostile saying well if the carpets were so dirty when you checked in why didnt you ask for a different room and that the dog bed was totally stained we said well its a aging hotel kinda thought it was how the place was kept then when we asked to speak to a hotel manager because we know we didnt stain any carpets and the dog beds were the exact same as when we found them in the hallway they hung up on us totally unprofessional.we didnt mind the hotel at first but them tryin to just upcharge damage we didnt cause we wont be back

Beautiful room, large and modern but comfortable too. Close to the arts scene and Jasper ave as well as trendy restaurants nearby. Inner city Edmonton is what it is, homeless nearby and construction everywhere which didn’t affect us much, but the hotel itself was very positive.
