Great staff. Had friendly chats with Bev (Front Desk) on several occasions. Room was well appointed and quiet, and while we didn’t use the amenities during our short stay, (pool, lobby dining room, pub, specialty restaurant), we appreciated their availability.

The room was clean and nice, staff were friendly and helpful. The hottub was broken so not ideal but was still hot so it was good to soak in The breakfast buffet was ok but I went at 9:30 for food and most items were empty. Not an issue, but I’ve stated there a few times and just not what I remember from before. There used to be more variety.

Room was clean breakfast was alright. Bar was very good but the meal menus was very limited. Also tho waitress( who was excellent) told us she was waiting to pick up our meal so should have been very hot but it was only lukewarm to cold. Offered to get it warmed up for us but we declined as did not think it would be very good after put in microvawe. Was very disappointed with our roast beef dinner.

Based on the reviews we decided to give this hotel a shot. Pleasantly surprised! Clean, large rooms, comfortable beds and quiet - simple and easy. Staff very nice. Trappers pub attached to the hotel was great - lovely staff there too. Breakfast was simple, but did the job. Will book again for sure.

Im pretty sure that in my original booking I left a note saying that due to severe allergies I would need a pet free room. As it turned out this hotel has only “pet friendly” rooms. I was given no notice of that fact and had a severe allergic reaction and had to check out early. So I had one very uncomfortable sleep and had to check out one day early.So I paid $288.85 for a one nite stay that should have been $144 and was feeling the effects of a bad allergy attack for three days . Bottom line is I paid for two nights and got only one and am still dealing with the allergy symptoms 3 days later. Not impressed. The people at the hotel were very nice and friendly and did offer to move us to a different room but do not provide any pet free rooms. The booking was done through Expedia not the hotel . I feel Expedia needs to step up their game and pay more attention to specific requests. I won’t be using Expedia any more.

Hotel staff in the most part were very efficient, especially the morning staff over Christmas. Disappointed that the hot tub wasn't working. The pub for meals other than breakfast was a nice atmosphere compared to the chicken restaurant, although the kitchen supplied both.
