Was in Edmonton for a conference. Hotel had some construction going on. Room was clean and quite large. Very quiet. Excellent bed and pillows. On site gym was larger than most gyms and was a nice surprise.

We love this hotel, we came for a little staycation. The beautiful interior makes it feel like you are on vacation which as made us just stay inside the hotel all day, have dinner at the sushi restaurant inside the hotel and relax in the plaza. We came back a little while after because we loved it so much and will definitely come back again.

Room was huge. (Queen suite). When I say huge, it felt like a mini condo. Extremely comfortable. Check in process was lovely with (I think her name was Fatima?). We were staying for 6 days for medical travel and all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Ita auch a bonus to habe the Raquetclub, and the pool facilities as well. The pool is a bit dated but well maintained, half decent hot tub. The atrium (right off from the desk area) is quite cool. We appreaciated how central the location is and the fact that you are a 10 minite walk fromthe grocery store. There are tons of restaurants in the area. We also had a night at the all you can eat sushi place Sushi Toshi. Its a little pricey, but worth it. Great food and faat service. We will more than likey be making this spot our regular one to stay when we are in town from now on!

Overall, this hotel was terrific for a short duration trip. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the amenities were great, the rooms were comfortable, and the location was ideal for accessing various food options and travel to the inner city. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself is very nice, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. However, customer service is definitely where they fall short. When we arrived, we were told there was underground parking, so we went down and parked near an elevator lobby ... only to find we were locked in. The doors scanned green but wouldn’t open. I called the front desk, and the woman who answered just sat in silence after I explained the situation. I said “hello?” and she finally replied, “one minute.” Then nothing for several minutes. I said “hello?” again and she eventually put me on hold ... and never came back. After about 15 minutes, we saw a worker walking by and asked if something was wrong with the door. He said, “What hotel are you staying at?” I told him Wyndham, and he said, “Oh, this door is for the other hotel.” It would’ve been nice to know that when we checked in, or at least have a sign on the door. Then on the second night, around 2 a.m., we were abruptly woken up by the fire alarm. We were traveling with children, and they were terrified. I opened our door to see if anyone else’s alarms were going off, but no one else’s were. I called the front desk again, and security came up, silenced the alarm, and asked if we were smoking in the room , which wasn’t exactly a kind thing to say to a family who had just been startled awake in the middle of the night overall, nice hotel, lackig in customer service

This Wyndham has large rooms and a grand lobby area. Pool was a bit cold and the sauna was warm not the normal bitter sauna temperature. The pool area could have been a bit cleaner. Over all great stay and good location. The balcony was a nice surprise!
