First of all - this hotel is EXTREMELY dark... the lighting is horrible... First night there was blood all over our sheets (the actual fitted sheet not the comforter). I called front desk to ask for new sheets. When the lady brought us sheets she didn't want to see the blood on the sheets and she made us clean the sheets. Super unprofessional and not friendly. Her response, "You probably dirtied the sheets"... excuse me? The next morning I complained to the front desk. Few hours later management called me (around 1pm) and upgraded us to a suite as he was unable to give us any compensation as we booked through expedia. This was frustrating as we weren't getting in until after midnight and having to leave the next morning.. so we got compensation yet weren't able to enjoy it...

The property was beautiful, unfortunately the restaurant/pub was horrible. I ordered a salad and it had a dead fly in the lettuce. No apologizes, just a “I’ll take the salad off the bill” I was then of course no longer interested in food so I didn’t eat my main meal. Complete waste of money. Expedia said the hotel was 10 mins away from the commonwealth stadium, that is completely wrong. It was a 27min drive. That would’ve made a huge difference in booking this hotel if I’d known that first. The hotel needs some updates. The carpets are all coming apart. My daughter fell due to this. The staff at the front were the only ones that were fantastic. I’d suggest looking for a different property if you need to get anywhere without driving. The view out of our window was a steel / junk yard.

Unfortunate timing

Overall the stay was ok. Elevator was down on sunday so i had to use the stairs up and down and we were on the 5th floor. Wouldve been nice to have a table and a chair in the room, where the big empty space was. All the vending machines were out of order.

Price was ok for first night but more than tripled for the following 2 because of the weekend despite being booked in advance. Ordered food from restaurant Thursday night and was told it would be 20 minutes (only ordered 2 mains and an appetizer) but was made to wait over 45 minutes for anything to come out. Only give continental breakfast 1 night out of your stay and it is definitely nothing to call home about

Although this hotel a little bit out of the way, it turned out to be a great hotel for us. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room had great black out curtains and was very quiet. The room was also very clean. The breakfast is ok - I never expect much out of a free breakfast, but had lots of variety. The staff seemed to be friendly and courteous. Best part was it was very reasonably priced and even with spending money on a few ubers to get around, it ended up being cheaper than hotels downtown.

Front desk staff and manager were amazing. We checked in on the second day of a Morgan Waller concert. The place was sold out and the lines long and the staff were so helpful.
