📍 LOCATION & SETTING
A short walk to Royal Alexandra Hospital, with NAIT, the Glenrose, downtown and transit close by. Commonwealth Stadium is walkable too, so it also suits game and event nights.
This is a busy central corridor: expect traffic and street activity, including people experiencing homelessness. We can’t promise silence or an upscale neighbourhood. What you get is a private, practical base close to where you need to be.

🚗 PARKING
Not guaranteed. Free street parking is available on 97 St, and limited front parking opens after 6 PM on weekdays. A spot may be available on request; any granted spot must be registered. Parking details come with your check-in instructions.

🛏 SLEEP & COMFORT
Queen bed with soft linens, blackout blinds and a white noise machine, which help if you sleep days after a night shift. Closet, hangers, full-length mirror and laundry basket. Two smart TVs (living room and bedroom) with Netflix, Prime and Disney+.

🍳 KITCHEN & LAUNDRY
Full-size stove and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, rice cooker, blender, and single-serve and drip coffee makers, plus salt, pepper, oil, sugar and basic cooking essentials. The in-suite washer and dryer comes with supplies.

🚿 BATHROOM
Shower/tub combo, fresh towels, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, Q-tips and cotton pads.

💻 WORK
Gigabit Wi-Fi, a dining table and a folding desk for laptop work.

🌡️ AIR & TEMPERATURE
No central A/C, but the basement stays cool in summer. A separate furnace and ecobee thermostat let you set your own temperature, and extra blankets are provided. An HRV keeps fresh air moving so it doesn’t feel like a stale basement; the switch in the hallway between the bedroom and living room turns its fan off.

🔑 ARRIVAL
Keyless entry with a Schlage Encode touchscreen lock. After you book, finish the quick steps in your Linkbase guest portal (no app or account needed): a signed rental agreement, government ID verification, and a refundable $1,000 CAD security hold (a pending authorization, not a charge) or an optional non-refundable damage waiver ($8 USD per night, capped at $59 USD per stay). Your entry code and photo directions follow once these are complete.

💰 COST
GST and Alberta Tourism Levy apply (9% combined). Utilities are included up to $250 per stay. Optional add-ons in the portal: early check-in $35 CAD (1 hr) or $50 CAD (2 hrs); late check-out $80 CAD (1 hr) or $100 CAD (2 hrs).

ℹ️ GOOD TO KNOW
Basement suite, entered by stairs. Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out at 11 AM. Maximum 2 guests, all registered in advance. Exterior cameras cover both sides of the house; there are none inside. We’re not on site, so you can come and go independently, and we respond as quickly as we can.
