Room was good. It would have been nice to have a kid free time in the hot tub. I paid to be free of my kids and one family seemed dead set on having their kids scream in the hot tub until 10pm. Its a chance one takes in a public area, but it still kinda sucked.

The hotel is clean. The staff are efficient. The only complaint would be that there was not any bran flakes as in other Holiday Inn Express locations. The breakfast was otherwise good.

Great stay, but stay on the 4th floor

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites twice, 1-night each stay several days apart. The first stay was great. Looking back at my receipts we had a room on the 4th floor and a Suite, 1 King Bed. Room was comfortable, fairly quiet, well kept. The 2nd night we stayed we were on the 3rd floor in a standard room, 1 King Bed. The room was a bit out-dated but what really bothered me was the smell! It appeared that they used some form of a room spray or a carpet spray to try and "deodorize" the room and it was awful. We arrived on a late flight, was exhausted so just dealt with it for the 1-night. Would stay again, but only if we're back on the 4th floor type room. Breakfast was great and the shuttle to the Edmonton International Airport was efficient and very convenient. The provide complimentary earplugs for your stay. There is a railroad line that is located close to the property that you may or may not hear. It didn't bother us.
