The staff were so kind and helpful, the restaurant was excellent, I highly recommend their Sunday roast. As for the hotel room, it was just what we needed, a bed and a bathroom, nothing too crazy but perfect for a 2 night stay!

All in all a nice pub to stay in, 44 bus outside takes you into the city, takes awhile but if your looking for somewhere slightly cheaper than the city centre, this is a nice place to stay for a couple of nights. Food was great, staff great, very quiet at night considering it's a pub. If you do stay here and get the 44 from Edinburgh the stop you require is curries library and the pub is opposite on the right.

Good quiet location . A nice pub/restaurant with rooms which were clean. Comfy bedding and beautiful luxurious towels. We ate both evenings in the restaurant , food was good and reasonably priced. A good location for a short stay at 20 mins from the airport

I loved staying in Riccarton. The area was peaceful and the inn had good food, clean rooms, and the bus was practically on their doorstep. Very convenient out of city center accomadation.

Loved this property, super affordable and perfect for a stay in Edinburgh. It’s literally right next to the bus into the city. Plus they were able to take our bags a little early which was amazing!

If you need a place to stay to catch a next day flight this is a good place. Don't expect luxury, you can't beat the price compared to other hotels motels around Edinburgh. The place is attached to a pub/restaurant that has excellent food and drinks.

A great overnight stay when doing the Leith Walk. Nice bar, good proper grub in the evening. No breakfast available but we knew that so no issue and there are cafes nearby. Bathroom needs a bit of a freshen up but was clean enough. Would certainly stay again as good value for money.

Very clean room and efficient staff. I gave 4 stars for the useful amenities only because I couldn't open one side of the wardrobe fully due to its proximity to the desk in the room and there was no counter space for toiletries in the bathroom.
