Excellent stay at The Scholar

From the moment we arrived the stay at the Scholar was fabulous. Staff really looked after us, room was clean and spacious as was the rest of the hotel. Breakfast buffet style with pleny to choose from.

This is a wonderful property. Close to the attractions of the old city, but away from the hustle and bustle. You will feel like you're in an oasis amid the crowds. We were three people traveling and had a nice sized family room. The toiletries are fantastic, and if I'd had room in my suitcase, I would have bought a bottle of the lotion. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Comfy, modern and quiet rooms. Clean and updated shower/bathroom. The property is tucked away surrounded by idyllic gardens and picturesque vistas with castle-like buildings nearby. Very convenient bus stop down the street. Top-notch staff are attentive and there's a chic bar area for a night cap.

The Scholar is top of the class

A very clean well run hotel. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. nothing is too much. The food is excellent and well presented. A great place to stay.
