I had a pleasant stay at The Scholar. The staff were all very welcome, especially the gentleman at the bar. The room was great for what I needed. The only comment I have is that the pillows were quite thick - I usually only sleep with one but even that one was too thick for me and I woke up with neck and shoulder pain. It's a small detail as I know everyone will have their preferences but I felt that if the pillows were thinner, those who prefer more cushioning could have just used more pillows. Other than that, my stay was lovely.

We had a wonderful stay at The Scott. They really pay attention to detail, the staff are all lovely and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety to choose from including delicious pastries. It's in a nice quiet area but close enough to the city centre. The decor and design of the hotel is so charming which enhanced the magical feel of Edinburgh. My only regret is not staying longer!

First visit to this hotel and we weren’t disappointed. Whilst some may think it is out of the way we really loved the location. Views of Arthur’s Seat, free on site parking, the family rooms were spacious with proper additional beds. The breakfast was served in the sister hotel which was stunning and delicious. All the staff at both hotels were super helpful and friendly. Great place to stay, will be back.
