Updated efficiency unit. Lijed the modern shower stall. Be advised there are MANY stairs at the entrance ~ 1.5 stories before the elevator. Electric door strike to our unit did not open completely so we needed to really shove the door open and closed. The heating system may be lovely in winter but we could not get it to turn down or off. Not responsive to the thermostat. There was a lighter weight blanket and a fan in the unit which helped. Nice having the kitchenette.

They do have a lift but it does not start until up a large flight of stairs. Made it harder but there was a maintenance man there that immediately began to help with baggage. I was able to store baggage in their office between stays and the people in the office were the friendliest ever. The bed is small but that is as advertised.

Beautiful big apartment right in the centre of the city with everything pretty much in walking distance! Tram stop near by linking it to the airport and Waverley across the road. The shower was epic, the toiletries were gorgeous and the kitchen was fully supplied with recycling bins. Big comfy couch and a TV with Netflix! My only complaint would be the pillows! Now they were terrible😂

We enjoyed our stay but didn’t realize we would not get fresh towels at least every couple of days. We tried to wash them but it proved difficult. There was considerable black mold in the shower. The place was safe and secure. It would not be advisable for someone with mobility issues and there were a lot of stairs and elevators were up a full flight of stairs.

Amazing location, great communication with queries. However, room was 26 degree and didn’t cool down at all even with air con on. There’s huge extractor fan for KFC at the bathroom window in flat 1b and it was really noisy all night! Also made the room smell like KFC

Too many negatives

I've tried but I still can't not be mad about the washer. Advertised as having a washer - first night there could not find the washer and there was only an after hours line for emergencies. So I called first thing in the morning and the woman on the phone was absolutely no help. Kept telling me it was in the kitchen. IT WAS NOT IN THE KITCHEN!! I AM NOT STUPID. Tell me once or twice you are trying to help. Tell me five separate times you are saying I am an idiot. The agent should have been able to look up the unit in a file to give details about it. The washer was in a cabinet BEHIND A CHAIR - no handle or label on the cabinet to suggest it opens and the washer is hiding there underneath the boiler. The unit is also advertised as having a lift. Partially true - you have to lug your luggage up 33 steps (I counted) to get to the lift to take you the rest of the way up. Poor noise control - people partying until the wee hours at night, non-stop construction work all morning. Not meant for light sleepers. No a/c which is usually understandable but it was very hot and there was only a cheap fan - could not open the windows very far and couldn't leave them open because of the noise. By itself the unit is nice but all of the other factors make it a poor choice for me.

LOCATION! It’s within walking distance of EVERYTHING a tourist will want to do. I actually didn’t realize its incredible location until I arrived. 2 minutes(!) from the train station which is how I arrived. 2 minutes(!) in the other direction for the ($10) tram that takes you to/from the airport! Walking distance to everything. The place itself is all updated. Fells new. Beautiful well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer combo in unit. Love the keyless entry. The ONLY negative is the construction on adjacent bldg (July 2025). Staging area is outside the window, but since they worked during the day, it wasn’t huge inconvenience since I was out tourist-ing during the day anyway. A bit pricey, but worth the splurge for its LOCATION and excellent condition and amenities.

Apartment was great, even for just 2 nights. Good location for getting to and from the train station and walking in Edinburgh. No view- we looked out at the sides of 3 buildings. Kitchenette was easy to work in but no microwave. The biggest disappointment was that the elevator was broken and we had to climb 3 flights of stairs with 3 suitcases and 2 backpacks- after just finishing an 8 day hike adventure. Good thing we are fit 71 year olds.

The accommodation was clean and an excellent location - the downside is that the windows overlooked the exhaust fans to both McDonald’s and KFC. This was extremely loud until around 4am and made the unit smell of fast food the entire duration

This unit was in the perfect location to everything. It felt safe due to code locks. It was quiet and a comfortable size for my me and my husband. The unit was very clean, the bathroom was so large and the bed comfortable. The kitchenette was well equipped. I highly recommend this property.

Very hot. Windows opened but noise all night from Princes street. People shouting, arguing. Also directly above McDonald and kfc which left an unpleasant smell of fried food all the time. Kitchen area nice, bed comfy but just not as nice as other apartments we’ve staying in in Edinburgh. Located close to station, playhouse, shopping etc which is a plus
