A Little More Than What You Pay For

You get what you pay for, and maybe a little bit more than that, at this facility. They were the lowest-cost option, and more than met the basic needs that I had for a bed and a shower. There was even enough room for me to exercise in the morning before I left. Four stars!

Perfectly Adequate

I'd say it's about what you'd expect maybe a little better. This is not the Four Seasons, so don't come in thinking it's gonna be four-star accommodations with mints on the pillow. For a roadside motel with affordable rates, it's not bad. Our family of 8 adults rented 4 rooms and slept fine on our way to the OBX. No serious complaints.

It was not a nice place. Very old. We booked online so we could not get our money back. We didn't even stay there, we drove to a better newer place. I'm sorry to write this but a old and not nice. The lady at the front desk was kind

We ended up leaving. Did not stay. The office smelled like moth balls. The grounds were not clean or inviting. I wish I could get a refund. Only picked because of the reviews. Only 1 car in parking lot and it was probably an employee.

Not sure how this was rated 8.2 on hotels.com

The room was very dirty. The bathroom corners were crusted in a brownish red filth, there was a spider in the shower. The refrigerator was propped open and the freezer was defrosting, thus making the carpeted floor in front of it soaked. The freezer was thick with ice and unusable. This was a double room and there was a small pouch of shampoo and conditioner, not enough for one person.

Water bottle under bed, shower curtain had a lot of paint on it ,tv hard to adjust, but it was ok for the night and what was charged because it was on the weekend
