"The house was perfect for us! The size was great for 8 women away for a long weekend. The bed in the downstairs room was “the most comfortable ever” according to my friend. Sadly it rained for the weekend so we could not partake in the outdoor amenities, which looked really nice. There were some weird things. The couch in some of the photos was in the hallway in the back area, so only seating for 5 in the living room. Also the table had 8 chairs in the photos but only 7 when we arrived, which is hard with 8 people. Luckily we had an extra chair in the car. The wash clothes they left were microfiber style dust clothes? Al’s nail sticking out of the wall that at least one person got a nice scratch from. The weirdest thing though is they made a huge deal about not wearing shoes in the house, which is normally done to keep things clean but the floors were so dirty my feet turned black. When we told them about it they gave no apology or anything and were like - we told you to bring slippers. My friend wearing slipper socks was not happy that her socks turned black too. That was weird. Overall though, it was a good stay. I would just bring the oldest pair of socks you have and throw them out at the end."

"Parking lot very clean with ample parking spaces. Property is very old and run down. Hallway carpeting smells musty and of old cigarettes. Good size bathroom, very clean. Appropriate toiletries provided. Bathroom towels very thin and low quality. Beds and pillows very lumpy. Breakfast layout is pathetic. On a positive note, staff members from all shifts were extremely pleasant. Per front desk staff, hotel does not have an elevator, so we stayed on the first floor. Owners need to invest more in the property upkeep and maintenance, if they want repeat customers."

"The cabin was lovely. Very well stocked. It was very peaceful. Communication with the owner was excellent. We would definitely rent this cottage again."
