The room was nice and clean. The view of the lake was stunning! We left the curtains open and watched the sunrise over the lake, breathtaking! The cleaning staff we encountered were extremely friendly and the front desk staff were very to the point. Pretty sure one of them didn't care for their job. :) The breakfast was great and loved that they had a shuttle going back and forth to Bentleyville for people that stayed there.

Expedia, 0 ⭐️ Hampton Inn Duluth Canal Park, 5 ⭐️ Hotel is under renovations. The front desk and breakfast/social gathering area are torn up and closed. Expedia makes zero mention of this when booking. The hotel website informs people immediately on their homepage. I contacted Expedia and after 20 minutes, they found on the app under “policies” it states, “hotel is under renovations”, so I should have been informed. I said it took you 20 minutes to find this information out and you work for Expedia. They didn’t care. Expedia expects you to go searching for important information that they bury under incorrect headings. We will stay at Hampton Inn Canal Park again, but I’m finished booking through Expedia.
