We stayed here for a mini-vacation in the Selena room. The building is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are thoughtfully designed and very cozy. For those that may have not packed shampoo, etc., the hotel supplied options were great. Morning pastries and coffee were absolutely delicious and the building was overall quiet despite having a handful of rooms filled. Really appreciate the parking, too! It is an older building and they’ve done a good job of maintaining the antiqueness of it. For example, we had a clawfoot tub that was ever so slightly wobbly, and the hot water spout in the bathroom sink dribbled water ever so slightly. Not enough to ruin our trip whatsoever, but just something to go into your stay knowing that minor things like this may be a possibility.

Very nice. A few small issues, I had to attach the lift chain to the handle on the toilet about 5 times, and a little teflon tape at the shower head would help. Sorry if I had my tool kit with I would have taken care of these things for you.

Me and my girlfriend loved this place. If ever back in duluth this is the spot I'd stay at again . The room we stayed in was the marry and Josephine and we loved it.super clean has a fridge,microwave .awesome coffe,jet tub was amazing. Tv was nice with all the apps.even there own netflix. And the lounge area downstairs is awesome.

The room and house were wonderful. I do recommend small cork disks under the tubs clawfeet and the bedposts to protect the floor and less sound when the tub expands. There is left handle on the Southwest window that should have new screws applied as well. Overall the room/stay was fantastic! Though we did wonder if we could have bought bath bombs or bubblebath there because we had forgotten to buy some at Walgreens.

Spectacular, immaculately maintained historic mansion. Suite (Vermillion) was on the 3rd floor, so pack light and/or have a pack mule Billy goat to carry your belongings. Well worth the climb. Spotlessly clean, historic details, the most comfortable bed and pillows, huge bathroom with Vermillion green tiled shower and massive sink. Huge closet with fridge and microwave and plenty of room to store luggage and coats. Could easily get accustomed to early morning coffee and pastries in the sunroom or on the front porch. Though the mansion was fully booked, we only ran into one other guest during the 3 days of our stay. A remarkable place to stay and will return again and again!
