Beautiful home with ample space for an amazing girls weekend. From early morning coffee on the front porch - to afternoons soaking in the hottub after biking or hiking the Mines of Spain trails - to evening dinners in the screened in porch smelling the fresh flowers and sipping wine - to top notch communication from the owners. We were in town for a funeral and found this house on vrbo. It worked out perfectly with plenty of space and the location was beautiful and convenient. Beds were comfortable and quiet. We will stay there again!

Only reason for 4 stars was due to some of the steep roads to get to the house. Bedrooms were very bright during the night with the street lights and during the morning. We loved the house and it was so charming!

This house was a great homebase for our group. Good location, comfortable stay, nice communal spaces, small playground nearby for toddlers, a beautiful front porch, and nice screened in patio as well. Hot tub a nice added benefit. Would stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay at this well-kept clean attractive historic house with ample modern conveniences. There was plenty of room for the seven guests, including four bedrooms, chatting on the side porch, some watching the Olympics on TV and a great ample dining room table. We would easily recommend this house to others as well as the owners/hosts who were prompt in communication.

Nice home to stay at.

Our family stayed at this house when we came to Dubuque to watch my grandson bowl for Clarke University. Close to CU, lanes, and eating and entertainment. Group of all ages stayed for weekend. We will be back.
