It perhaps needs to be more specific about how little there is to do on Kolocep itself. There’s only 1 other hotel on the opposite side of the island. I bar/cafe & 1 restaurant which is linked to the hotel. Also it should be detailed that the ferries don’t always run. We visited another island and couldn’t get back so had to pay for another hotel on another island. Whilst we understand they can’t control the weather we might not have got on the first one if we’d been told they don’t run is iffy weather. The hotel itself is exactly what you’d expect from an All-Inclusive hotel.

Can’t recommend this hotel enough. The staff were all amazing, friendly and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and we loved being all inclusive. There are lots of activities to join in with and plenty of places to just relax, round the pool, on the beach, on the many terraces. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. Staff absolutely fabulous - huge thanks to Anna on reception and all the restaurant staff, who were efficient, kind and polite. Wonderful! No cars, trains, buses! All inclusive excellent. Food and drinks brilliant. Nice late breakfast ‘till 10:30am. There is a working port, so it is busy. It’s an adult only hotel but it is pretty busy outside and on the public side of the beach, which is right next to the hotel’s beach.

Great beach and island for doing walks or runs. Food a bit salty for our taste, but good and varied enough. Amazing deserts! Only main problem is the gym. It is way to small is lacking in stuff to do a normal workout. Has plenty of stairs, so be aware if you have mobility issues. Overall recommended.

We had the BEST time here! Our AC in our room wasn’t quite working but they provided us with a fan that was super helpful. They are super accommodating and take your bags to the room while you are allowed to use all of the amenities until your room is ready. Definitely make sure to check the ferry schedule and ensure you’re not arriving on a holiday we got lucky but it could have ended very bad for us! Be on the lookout for Voraček (we are almost positive that’s how you spell it) who works in the restaurant. He was an incredible soul who made our whole trip! All around it was an amazing experience and we will definitely be back!

My husband and I went here for our honeymoon looking forward to an all inclusive experience. Neither of us drink, but we were looking forward to the food. This was a massive disappointment. Not only was the food generally gross, but unsafe to eat. There were bugs everywhere, cold products left out for hours, undercooked meat, etc. My husband and I both got sick and ended up so hungry and afraid to eat there that we had to leave the island early. The general manager didn’t even make himself available to meet with us even though he was there. Going to an all inclusive resort and having to leave because you’re sick and hungry is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I do not recommend this resort unless you plan to drink only.
