Location and access to transit was very good. As well, close to the downtown shopping core. For a long stay, I would not stay there again. We were in a family room with no place to store our clothes only a small hanging space and we were there two weeks. I would not stay in a similar location again where there is a pub on the premises as I felt that that was more important than the guests staying in the hotel. The staff was not very friendly and the food was so/so considering we had the most excellent food while in Ireland.

Hotel was fine, comfortable bed and staff at front desk were helpful. Food in restaurant was ok but not great. We ate at Weatherspoon restaurant in Edinburgh and quality much better. We only ate once at this hotel and went elsewhere for the remainder.

Different and fun!

A bit of a quirky—but delightful—layout! Loved how we had to cross a glassed-in bridge overlooking the EXTENSIVE and very popular bar and dining rooms to get to our room. Breakfast was not included but extremely reasonably priced, and coffee and tea are free for hotel guests all day. Wonderful location, and a great bonus is that the #16 bus, which goes to the airport, is just a block away and the ride costs only 2,60 euros. Would definitely stay here again!

Memorable trip in Dublin

My husband and I stayed at this lovely hotel for a 3 day break which was lovely. The hotel is in a good location and easy to walk to some of the tourist spots around Dublin. One of the members of staff that really stuck out for us was lovely Julia who works on reception. She was so friendly and attentive from the minute we checked in and nothing was too much trouble. She was so helpful too. She took her time to explain everything to us and what they could offer us to make our stay more pleasant! Thankyou so much Julia!😊

Really enjoyed our 1 night stay. Tram a short walk and a couple of stops to Parnell Street. Car park is 10 mins walk - but easy. Bar prices significantly cheaper than elsewhere. Didn’t eat here - but food looked good. Visit was for Robbie concert in Croke Park - travel was totally ok due to close proximity to Luas. Recommend!

Cool hotel in a nice area away from the busier city center area. Great food and drink options at the property for very reasonable prices compared to everything else in the area. Great pubs across the street and walkable to nearby touristy places. Would definitely stay there again.

Charming Dublin Hotel in a Nice Location

Keavans Port Hotel is situated in a prime location in Dublin. It's within walking distance of many attractions, including St. Stephen's Green and Grafton Street's shopping district. It's only a few blocks from the Luas trolley that takes you to other areas of the city. It is a bit of a maze finding your room, and there are multiple doors that require your key to enter. We were appreciative that the front desk staff escorted us to our room when we checked in. I was staying with my 85-year-old mother and requested twin beds. We were given a spacious room with one double bed and a pull-out sofa. The sofa bed was not comfortable; my mother slept soundly in her bed. The high tub was a bit difficult for my mom to step into; however, the luxury of taking a bath is not often found in newer hotels. The hotel's restaurant and pub offer a nice selection of food and drinks. I recommend this hotel for its Irish charm and location.
