"The Residence is a very nice hotel. It’s always well maintained and in close proximity to the Harbor, (walking distance). The food in the bar is excellent and the staff is pleasant. This place is hands down my favorite place to stay when I come to Baltimore."

"Excellent location in a beautiful historic building. Love that they kept small touches like the woodwork, mail slots and iron stairs. Room was spacious and well maintained. We had a suite with separate bedroom, only drawback was the A/C in this older building meant the living area was very cold and the bedroom was still very warm. Self serve breakfast was typical. Location was excellent for the aquarium, historic ship tours, harbor, local restaurants and shops. Not too loud at night like we have seen in other large city hotels."
