"Just checked out from a six-night stay here. LOVED my room - a business room with a sea view. I normally don’t get too hung up on sea views but this one was special. Spent a lot of room time sitting in my little alcove with its big bay windows, staring out to sea and the Tower of Refuge, contemplating the tides. Perfectly located. Great for walking along the beautiful promenade and shopping along the Strand. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff were wonderful and super helpful. My room, and likely the hotel, did not have air conditioning. Normally this would have been a problem for me but I was quite comfortable during my stay. Still quiet to sleep with the windows open and there was a fan provided in the closet. Stairs. There’s an elevator to bring you to your floor but stairs here and there to drag your suitcases up and down. It’s an odd setup but staff is happy to help if they notice or you ask for it. Breakfast was lovely and cooked to order. I’d stay here again. ☺️"
