A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. Woke up to birdsong and quiet , and a great breakfast in their large conservatory. Service excellent and helpful. Only point of note is if you wish to dine in their partner (next door) restaurant , best to reserve in advance , as it was fully booked (despite being almost empty!) at 630pm. But- more choice available in nearby Doué-la-Fontaine about 10 mins drive . Would thoroughly recommend this family run hotel as a stop-off on the long drive south from Calais, or for short excursions into the Saumur area.

Séjour trÚs agréable avec un personnel trÚs sympas et compétent .Le buffet de petit déjeuner est trÚs bien et copieux . La chambre est trÚs propre . Seul petit bémol, le carrelage de la salle de bain est glissant car en sortant de la douche , j'ai glissé et fort heureusement je m'en sort avec 2 écorchures mais Céline la réceptionniste à fait une super infirmiÚre. Je reviendrais avec un grand plaisir dans cette hotel super sympa , confortable avec un personnel compétent .je recommande fortement l'hotel dela saulaie

Étape d’une nuit

Nous avons sĂ©journĂ© en couple pour une nuit dans une chambre avec vue sur la piscine. Bassin qui a Ă©tĂ© salvateur, compte tenu des chaleurs excessives pour un week-end de mai, on a pu s’y rafraĂźchir tout autant que profiter de la terrasse ombragĂ©e. Le petit dĂ©jeuner est trĂšs complet et si un quelconque Ă©lĂ©ment vient Ă  manquer, le serveur se fait un plaisir d’en remettre Ă  disposition. Le cadre (vĂ©randa) et la musique sont trĂšs apprĂ©ciables Notre petit moins aura Ă©tĂ© la chaleur assommante dans le bĂątiment mais nous avons rĂ©ussi Ă  crĂ©er un courant d’air en ouvrant nos fenĂȘtres dans la nuit, sans pour autant subir de bruit liĂ© Ă  la route, donc tout petit moins. Nous n’avons pas testĂ© le bistrot, ayant prĂ©fĂ©rĂ© le routier d’à cĂŽtĂ© ( trĂšs chouette aussi ) mais des amis croisĂ©s sur le parking de l’hĂŽtel nous l’ont chaudement recommandĂ©, une prochaine fois peut-ĂȘtre.
