Charming retreat in Saint-Georges near Doué-en-Anjou

Need to recharge your batteries with friends or family? The Saint-Georges gîte is the perfect place! Ideally located in Saint Georges sur Layon, your stay will allow you to disconnect to the rhythm of birdsong. 7 minutes from Doué-en-Anjou and its famous Bioparc, your stay will be an opportunity to discover the particularities of the area: troglodyte villages, charming villages, banks of the Loire, rose production, taste the many wine appellations (Layon, Saumur, Cabernet...).

The gîte is composed of:

- On the ground floor: a living room with wood stove, lounge and dining room, a fully equipped and independent fitted kitchen, a laundry room with washing machine, dryer, toilet and washbasin. - Upstairs: a bedroom with a 140cm X 190cm bed and a 90cm X 190cm bed in an alcove (possibility of putting a safety barrier at the edge of the bed for children), a second bedroom with a 120cm X 190cm bed and a 100cm X 190cm bed, a bathroom with shower and toilet.

From the kitchen and the living room, you access a beautiful outdoor space with terrace, part of which is covered by a courtyard, ideal for mild summer evenings. The 500m² garden with swing is enclosed allowing young children and animals to wander around in peace. A pond with goldfish, ducks and carp will delight young and old. They are fed every morning by the owner.

Inside the property, it is possible to park 2 to 3 vehicles, two of which are under a carport.

Included in the rental price: electricity, heating (electric) and a basket of wood logs. Rental of sheets, towels and cleaning package are optional.

You will easily visit the major cities of Anjou: Saumur (its castle, its banks of the Loire and the tank museum) 30 minutes away, Angers (its castle of the Dukes of Anjou, its Saint-Maurice cathedral and the banks of the Maine) 40 minutes away and Cholet 50 minutes away. Many activities are available nearby: visit the Doué-en-Anjou zoo 7 minutes away, the Louresse-Rochemenier Troglodyte village museum 10 minutes away, the Saumur forest adventure treetop adventure park 20 minutes away, or even beautiful walks or bike rides along the Loire.
