This was a historic stay. We loved the tiny details and felt like we had stepped back in time to a Jane Austen novel. Highly recommend for people who love old mansions. I taught my daughters about encyclopaedias - the google of yore - and we also loved watching the spirit of Tasmania berth.

The ocean was visible from the room as was the Spirit of Tasmania when it docked. The staff was very helpful and friendly and breakfast was delicious.
