Hidden Gem

The Pelican Motel was a little hidden gem in the area. We spent the weekend visiting several state parks and it fit our needs for overnight lodging perfectly. Our room was cozy and clean with updated furnishings and decor. We would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area again.

Parking was amazing, room was very clean and updated, mattress super comfortable. Check in was easy ,friendly. Felt very safe there. Would be nice to have info on local coffee houses, etc. since there is no breakfast at the motel. Would stay again.

We stayed in one of the cabins and ut was so cute and cozy. The owners are amazing! Very friendly and even shared some chips and spicy cheese with us. They are pet friendly. We had our dog with us, she was able to spend some outside time on our deck.

Lovely motel. Quiet. Relaxing. All the amenities of home. As coming with heavy rolling cooler, requested parking outside my door. With in minutes of submitting my request, hotel responded, accommodating my request. When arrived was offered assistance with my cooler. Hospitality extraordinaire! Highly recommend.

Loved that we could bring our dog. Hotel requires you to bring a dog bed, because dogs aren't allowed on the beds. Room was spotless. Easy parking. The only thing I didn't like was the noise from the turkey plant. But my dog didn't mind, so I'm good. Will definitely stay again.

The room was absolutely lovely to stay in. Me and my significant other were staying here for WE Fest weekend and absolutely loved our time here. When I booked it a year in advance I had some doubts but I was very surprised on how nice it was. Staff were extremely nice. Felt just like staying at home. It was very private and quiet which we loved. Hoping to come back next year and stay here again. 12/10 recommend this wonderful place!
