Great view from the balcony. Staff very friendly and helpful, recommend troll hunting which was so nuch fun and got us outside in the parks on a beautiful day.

The room was beautiful, clean and had such nice decor and the views from our balcony were stunning especially the beautiful sunset and view of the beach. Will definitely come back here again when in Detroit Lakes.

This is my second stay at the Lodge, and I really enjoyed time I spent here. Spacious, clean rooms. If you have not been here before, ALL rooms have a lake view. Bed was comfortable. Hot breakfast in the morning. I like that they got private beach. You can seat in the lounge chair, watch the lake, soak up the sun. Swimming pool is on a smaller side. GREAT staff, very friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to staying at the Lodge again.

In room 303, the entire room shook during the entire time I stayed from an exterior door shutting. I called the front desk and they told me the only room I could shift to was right by the lobby which hosts a bar and activities and would be loud as well. It was literally torture as I didn’t sleep at all with no recourse or solution offered.

Great location. So many things to do in Detroit Lakes. Best part is the art. Good breakfast and amenities at the hotel. Amazing views and we enjoyed the walkout room.
