Great place to stay. Hotel was clean and quiet. Room was fantastic. Comfortable bed. Would recommend friction pads in the showers/tubs though as they are really slippery. Breakfast was average. Eggs were heat and eat. Sausage was dried out. Waffle batter was bitter. Scones and potato cakes were great. Would stay here again.

We chose this hotel because the ratings said exceptional… definitely not. Heat in room didn’t work, was freezing all night and couldn’t even shower when we woke up because of how cold it was. Also, couch looked so dirty we had to cover it with a sheet to sit on it and put a towel on the footrests that also looked dirty. There were crumbs all between the stove and cupboards. It was a $230 room. We’ve had much better hotels at a lower price. Very disappointed and manager never called us back. Will not stay at Staybridge ever again. Oh and a dog barking next door! Thumping above us. Pictures looked much better than actual room.
Was 63 when we woke up. We turned thermostat to 71 before bedtime. 65 was the warmest it got.

Two night stay; happy guest

Great two night stay in the Detroit metro area. When planning another trip, I will be sure to come back. Positives: -Friendly staff -Clean rooms and facilities -Warm/hot breakfast, with many options (plenty of healthy options, too). A bonus was the waffle maker with various batter options besides the normal (blueberry waffle batter, chocolate waffle batter, etc) -Kitchenette in room -Swimming pool -Laundry facilities -Workout room -Modern outdoor patios -Smoke free -Walk in shower in bathroom -beautiful dining room -very quiet environment (signs were posted, reminding guests to be cognizant of noise) -lots of lighting options in the room I wasn’t a fan of the pets that were allowed, as I’m not an animal lover. However, I’m sure this is a plus for some people. A section of the carpeting in our room was chewed up, I’m sure it was due to a former occupant with a dog. I would suggest heating the pool, or having a hot tub added near the pool. But that is a very minor issue. Thanks for a great stay!
