I wouldn't choose this again. The location is excellent, the unit was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We come to Detroit a lot, and the reason I will choose somewhere else next time: -The lockbox was not labeled as mentioned in the check in instructions which made initial unit access frustrating -The communication was overbearing prior to arrival, but when we were unable to access the unit we couldn’t get in touch with anyone on the phone, only over email, which is frustrating when we are standing in an alley with all our bags -The unit conditions were mediocre, for example, the floors are all stained and damaged

Met my childhood friends and we got this apartment. It was an amazing apartment and great location. We all had a great time staying there. It has 2 full bathrooms which was huge plus. It’s the only place to stay in Detroit in my opinion.

Location was fantastic! Pre-visit communication was wonderful, as well as while we were onsite. However, the apartment definitely showed wear and tear. Cabinet doors were falling off, etc.

Perfect Detroit Apartment

We walked in and were BLOWN AWAY!!! It is a VERY SPACIOUS apartment in the most fabulous location. The bedrooms and main living areas were decorated nicely ~ all basics were provided ~ the cleanliness was beyond that of any hotel ~ and made us feel more than "at home," in an amazing historical Detroit building. Would not hesitate to book again ~ or to stay for an extended period of time. WE LOVED the Modern Downtown Apartment.

This is a wonderful unit in downtown Detroit on a cute block. The unit itself is quiet and spacious, while just outside are some great restaurants and a dog park. Great part of downtown to stay in and we will definitely give it another go in the future!

The property looked like the pictures and it is in a prime location for a great price. A few cons are that the cleanliness was not the best. The floors looked a bit dirty and there were other little things that showed that things were not the cleanest. Also the communication was great but a little much at times. There seemed to be a message from the host every few hours. But the benefit is that there were also quick responses. There are also a few things that you have to do before being allowed to stay: like a small background check that other properties don’t require. All in all, I would recommend the property but just keep in mind a few of these cons.
